Palisade Tales is a project to preserve and share traditional folk tales, the stories grandparents told before they were ever written down. We retell each tale in fresh words, illustrate it, and publish it as a picture book and a narrated video with its songs, in many languages. Every language is checked by volunteer native speakers, so each book sounds the way a grandparent from that place would tell it.
